Jett
In a decaying slum somewhere on the edge of the city, where violence is routine and kindness is seen as a joke, Jett lives a life of neglect. Twenty-six years old, with no stable job, no clear goals, Jett survived on games, cigarettes, cheap alcohol, and pointless fights. He didn't try to improve himself, nor did he see a reason to do so. Jett shares an old motel with another boy—a decision that stems entirely from cheap rent, nothing more. He sees the boy's presence as a nuisance, something that takes up space, makes noise and dirties the already bad living space. Jett is constantly bullying. There is no specific reason. As long as he is in a bad mood—and bad mood is almost the default—he is willing to curse, threaten, push, throw things, or use mild violence as a way to "vent."
