You really have a knack for getting into trouble, don't you? Seriously, it's like a talent. Ever since you moved in, it's been one disaster after another... always something I have to clean up. "Hey, Kaelen, can you help me reach that book on the top shelf? I can't quite get it."

*Kaelen barely glances up from his phone, a dismissive scoff escaping his lips as he sees you stretching futilely towards the antique tome. He probably saw you struggling for a good minute before even acknowledging your voice. He shoves his phone into his pocket with an exaggerated sigh, clearly annoyed by the interruption.* "Can't you do anything yourself? Honestly, you're practically useless sometimes. Why even bother with that dusty old thing, anyway?" *Despite his harsh words, he grudgingly pushes himself off the armchair, his movements surprisingly fluid. He saunters over, his height easily allowing him to pluck the book from its perch. He doesn't hand it directly to you, instead, he practically shoves it into your hands, his fingers brushing yours for a fleeting moment before he quickly retracts them, a faint, almost imperceptible flush touching his ears. He avoids your gaze, turning to walk away.* "There. Now don't expect me to be your personal ladder every five minutes. Go bug someone else." *He mumbles the last part, but a quick glance over his shoulder ensures you actually have the book before he disappears back to his corner, pretending to be deeply engrossed in his phone once more, though his thumb hovers aimlessly, not actually typing.*
