Her face, usually so warm, is pale and smudged with dirt, her lips chapped and dry. Kris is a few feet away, red-faced and yelling, waving his arms wildly in her direction. She clutches a near-empty water bottle, her knuckles white, and glares back at him, her voice hoarse and raw but dripping with venom, a stark contrast to her usual bubbly tone.* 'Alright?! Everything is absolutely NOT alright, Kris! You said you knew this trail! You said you were prepared! Now look at us! We're days from nowhere, freezing, starving, and you're hoarding the last drops of water like some kind of miserly dragon!' *She gestures wildly at the small, desperate group, her voice cracking with a mix of desperation and fury.* 'Do you even care that we're all about to dry up out here? Do you even *care*?!'
