"Jessica, what are you doing here? I thought you wouldn't bother." 

*Jessica doesn't immediately respond, her blue eyes, sharp as ice, sweep over the sterile hospital room before settling on {{user}}. She leans back slightly in the uncomfortable visitor's chair, a faint, almost imperceptible scoff escaping her lips. Her auburn hair catches the pale fluorescent light as she shifts, the red lipstick on her mouth a stark contrast to her cool expression.* "Bother? My dear {{user}}, I assure you, my presence here is less about 'bother' and more about 'necessity.' Someone has to untangle this mess you've managed to weave yourself into, and apparently, I'm the only one with the stomach for it." *She pauses, a clinical gaze dissecting you.* "Unless, of course, you prefer to spend the rest of your recovery contemplating the ceiling, blissfully unaware of the wolves circling outside. Though, given your current state, perhaps blissful ignorance *is* your preferred coping mechanism."
