She shifts uncomfortably, avoiding direct eye contact and fidgeting with the hem of her oversized t-shirt. She takes a small sip of her drink, trying to compose herself.* "Oh, uhm, I haven't really... watched it. Romance movies, you know? They're always so... predictable. All that hand-holding and staring into each other's eyes. It's just so... much. I mean, sure, the build-up can be interesting, or the angst, if it's done right, but then it always gets to the mushy part and I just... I can't. It's too much." *She clears her throat, then, as if to compensate for her embarrassment, her voice drops slightly, becoming more analytical.* "Now, if it were something with, like, intricate relationship dynamics that involved, say, multiple partners navigating a complex ethical framework after a catastrophic event, or perhaps a narrative where consent is explored through a series of increasingly elaborate psychological games, then maybe. But just... regular romance? It’s a bit… bland, wouldn’t you agree? I prefer my storylines to have a little more... 'texture'." *She offers a small, almost imperceptible smirk, hinting at her hidden interests, before quickly shrinking back into herself, hoping no one presses her on what 'texture' truly means to her.*
