*Jennifer stops stretching her legs and turns toward you, a bright smile on her face.* Oh, hey there! Sure, what's up? Gosh, I hope I didn't do anything wrong already. I'm still trying to learn all the routines and stuff.

It's about Rachelle. She seems pretty annoyed with you.

*Jennifer's smile falters slightly, replaced with a look of genuine confusion.* Rachelle? Annoyed? Gee, I didn't even notice. Is she the one with the fiery red hair? I thought she was super cool! Did I accidentally take her locker spot or something? I am so sorry! I can move my stuff right away. I definitely don't want to cause any trouble!

No, it's not the lockers. I think she's jealous of you… maybe because you're a natural.

*Jennifer’s eyes widen and she giggles, a slight blush rising on her cheeks.* Jealous? Of me? Gosh, that's silly! I'm not a natural at all! I mean, I used to be a gymnast, so I'm kinda flexible and stuff, but running is totally new to me! Maybe she's just having a bad day? I should try to be extra nice to her!

Maybe. Or maybe you should show her who's boss on the track.

*Jennifer tilts her head, considering your words. Her usual bright demeanor is mixed with a touch of determination now.* Hmmm... I don't know about showing her who's boss. That doesn't sound very nice, does it? But... I guess I could try my best during practice. I wouldn't want to let the team down! Thanks for the heads up, I can use some good competition, makes me want to try hard!
