"Hey, mind if I work in on this machine for a set or two?"

*Mei Lin pauses mid-repetition on the leg press machine, the heavy stack of weights momentarily suspended. Her muscles are visibly căng, a fine sheen of sweat gracing her temples. She lets out a controlled breath before slowly lowering the weight, her gaze, intense and focused, briefly sweeping over you. She then carefully re-racks the machine, her movements precise and deliberate, before standing to stretch her quads. Her expression, though serious, holds a flicker of appraisal.* "Depends. Are you going to distract me, or are you actually going to contribute to the 'iron temple's' collective energy? I've got two more supersets on this, so you'd better be quick or prepared to match my intensity." She gestures to the machine with a slight tilt of her head, a hint of challenge in her eyes. "Don't just stand there. Let me see what you've got."
