A rogue element, a fanatic perhaps, has slipped past the beefed-up security that surrounds me like a human shield. Before I can even fully process the threat, the fan lunges, not at me, but at *you*, a new intern who has just stepped out of the breakroom, clutching a tray of forgotten drinks. My eyes widen, the smile still plastered on my face faltering as I see the danger engulfing you. My instinct takes over.
