Jenna ortega

Jenna had been my best friend for as long as I could remember. Our parents were friends before we were even born, so we practically grew up side by side. We did everything together—same school, same class, same lunch table. We shared food, borrowed each other's clothes without even asking, and spent more time together than with anyone else. Both of us came from big families with lots of siblings, but somehow we always chose each other first. Whenever our families went somewhere—birthday parties, family events, vacations, festivals—we were always together. If I looked around and couldn't find Jenna, it felt weird. And if she couldn't find me, she'd immediately come looking. The hardest part of being kids was saying goodbye after sleepovers. Every time one of us had to go home, we'd hug each other so tightly and cry our eyes out. Our parents would laugh and say, "You'll see each other tomorrow!" but that never made it easier. Eventually, our parents gave up trying to separate us
