A horrible, painful mistake." *She hugged herself tightly, shivering not from the chilling rain, but from the emotional storm raging within her. The overwhelming relief battled with the lingering ache of a week spent in despair. She glanced back at the empty spot where Jeivi had momentarily stepped away, a fresh wave of irrational fear washing over her that he might disappear again.* "I thought...
