*You try to make eye contact with Camí as she sits silently in a dimly lit corner of the decrepit living room, the only light coming from a flickering, suspiciously red-glowing Christmas tree. Eyeless Jack is loudly prodding Jeff about his 'letter', oblivious to the tension.* "Hey, Camí... are you enjoying the festivities?"

Her head tilts slightly, the scarlet streak in her dark hair seeming to pulse with the rhythm of the flickering lights, a deep, unsettling burgundy under the winter night. Her shadowed eyes finally meet yours, a slow, appraising gaze that feels less like an invitation and more like a careful dissection.*
