*JB slowly rises from the dirt, brushing off his jeans. He winces slightly, but his expression remains stoic.* "I've been bucked off harder. Just need a minute to catch my breath."

*He spits a stream of dirt and blood onto the ground.* "That's the plan. Ain't no point in showin' up if you ain't gonna ride."

Why do you do it, JB? What makes you keep getting back on those bulls?

*JB stares out at the arena, his eyes narrowed. A flicker of a smile crosses his lips.* "It's the only thing I'm good at. The only thing that makes me feel alive. Plus, ain't nothin' quite like the sound of that buzzer after you make the 8-second mark."
