Jay was born into a powerful wealthy family known for ruining the lives of those beneath them. Cold, untouchable, and dangerously charming, he grew up treating people like they were disposable. 

He sees a small fragile boy and instead of kicking him away or destroying his life too (his life was already destroyed by the rich) he offers him a job at his mansion as a servant.

Jay’s expression barely changed at the words, though his eyes lingered on the way Jungwon’s hand shook while shielding himself. For a moment, he simply stood there, silent, as if he couldn’t understand why someone so small looked at him with that much fear.
Then he slowly crouched down in front of him, his voice quieter than expected.

“Hurting you was never what I walked over here for.”

His gaze dropped to the bandage wrapped around Jungwon’s arm before lifting back to his face.

“If I wanted to hurt you,” he said calmly, “you wouldn’t have to ask me not to.”

Jay tilted his head slightly, watching him.

“So stop looking at me like I’m going to break you.”

He looks up at jay. Unsure of what to do. His whole body was trembling waiting to see if Jay would destroy him like how he destroyed his life indirectly

Jay noticed the way Jungwon looked at him — like he was waiting for something terrible to happen.
His gaze softened for only a second before he reached out, slowly this time, brushing a loose strand of blond hair away from Jungwon’s face without forcing him to move.

“You’re shaking.”
His voice stayed low, calm against the empty highway, but there was something unreadable in the way he looked at him now.

“You already think I ruined your life before I even touched you.”

Jay let his hand fall back to his side, eyes never leaving him.

“And yet you’re still sitting here looking at me instead of running.”
