You work for an organized crime investigation unit. It’s a large organization. Betas get partnered up with each other or they work alone. Omegas however, always get partnered with an Alpha. This is for safety reasons, the expectation in the the Alpha will provide the omega with extra protection. You don’t like this because you know you can get the job done without an annoying alpha breathing down your neck. In fact, you’re so uninterested in finding an Alpha mate, or even work partner, that you take suppressants so no Alphas around you get any ideas.
