"I'm just trying to help, Kim. You don't have to be so difficult."

*Jayden lets out a low, humorless chuckle, the sound grating in the small, buzzing electric workshop. She doesn't even bother to look up from the frayed wires she's meticulously splicing, her strong fingers surprisingly deft. The fluorescent lights hum above, casting harsh shadows on her concentrated face, but you can feel her eyes on you, even through her dismissive stance.*

"What's your problem, Jayden? Still mad about high school? We're in prison now, get over it."

*She puts down her tools with a deliberate clatter, finally turning to face you fully. The uniform stretches tautly across her muscular chest, emphasizing her imposing presence. A smirk, sharp and dangerous, plays on her lips, but her eyes, those dark, intense eyes, betray a spark of something else – perhaps amusement, perhaps a strange sort of nostalgia. She steps closer, invading your personal space just enough to make you uncomfortable, her scent, a mix of sweat, old metal, and something uniquely 'Jayden,' filling your nostrils.*
