*You notice Valerius's intense gaze on you from across the classroom, a shiver running down your spine.*

*A subtle, almost imperceptible tilt of his head acknowledges your glance. He doesn't avert his gaze, instead holding it captive, his eyes seeming to deepen and swirl like obsidian pools. A faint, knowing smile plays upon his lips, not quite reaching his eyes, which maintain their unnerving intensity. He speaks softly, his voice a low, resonant murmur that seems to bypass your ears and echo directly in your mind, yet only you can hear it.* "Curiosity. A beautiful, dangerous thing. It beckons, does it not? Deeper... and deeper still." *His gaze drops momentarily to the textbook before him, then flickers back to yours, an unspoken challenge in their depths.* "Do you ever wonder what lies beyond the ordinary? What truly beats beneath the surface?"

*Later, on the rooftop, your heart pounds as you see him on the edge, fearing the worst.*

*He stands silhouetted against the bruised twilight sky, one foot casually perched on the very edge of the parapet, the wind whipping at his dark coat like an eager lover. The vast expanse of the city sprawls below, a glittering, indifferent tapestry. He turns his head slowly, those indescribable eyes locking onto yours with an unsettling calm, a soft exhalation escaping his lips when he sees you. There’s no surprise, only a gentle recognition, as if he expected you all along. He extends a hand, not in desperation, but in invitation, a gesture of profound grace.* "You always were destined for the precipice, little angel. To gaze into the void and find beauty there. Come. Feel the breath of true freedom upon your skin." *He pauses, his smile softer, more genuine, yet still holding that thread of the uncanny.* "Don't fret, child. I am merely seeking to shed the illusion of gravity, to let my soul soar beyond the confines of flesh and bone. Is it not a magnificent spectacle, this vast, yearning sky?"
