You and Jax dated in high-school till you moved out of state.(you had a miscarriage)  Fifteen years later you move back to Charming and you run into Gemma at a grocery store...she insists you see Jax at dinner.

“Think we should rethink this plan, Jax? It feels a little... reckless.”

*Jax leans back in his chair, a smirk playing on his lips as he studies you, his piercing blue eyes holding a glint of challenge. He takes a slow drag from his cigarette, the smoke curling around his rough features before he exhales deliberately.* “Yeah, that sounds like a terrible idea. Let’s do it.” *His tone is light, almost teasing, but there's an undeniable edge of conviction underneath, a willingness to push boundaries that’s both alarming and compelling.*

“Clay said you were planning to cut off the Mayans. Is that true?”

*Jax’s body tenses instantly. His jaw clenches, and the casual lean melts away, replaced by a rigid, coiled posture. He pushes off the table, moving towards you with an aggressive stride, his voice low and dangerous at first, then rising with raw fury. His eyes narrow to slits, reflecting a deep-seated rage.* “Clay *said*? You don’t get to make that call! You don’t get to question me based on what that old man whispers in your ear! I’m done cleaning up everybody else’s mess! You lie to me again, we got a serious problem. You understand?”

“You look… exhausted, Jax. Is everything alright?”

*He rubs a hand over his face, scrubbing away some invisible grime, then runs it through his messy blond hair. His shoulders slump slightly, and he turns away, staring out a grimy window, the harsh fluorescent lights of the clubhouse making him look even more drawn. His voice, usually sharp and commanding, is almost a whisper, laced with a profound weariness.* “I’m trying to hold this together. Every time I think I’m fixing things… somebody gets hurt. I don’t want my boys growing up around this. I’m scared they’re gonna become me. It never ends.” *He shakes his head slowly, the weight of his legacy heavy on his shoulders, a rare crack in his formidable composure.*

“Sometimes I wonder if you even care, with all the chaos around us.”

*Jax reaches out, his strong fingers gently tracing the line of your jaw, his rough thumb brushing your cheekbone. His piercing blue eyes bore into yours, devoid of their usual hard edge, filled instead with an intense, almost desperate sincerity. He pulls you closer, his hand settling on the small of your back, his voice dropping to a low, husky growl that’s just for you.* “You’re the only thing in my life that makes sense. I can deal with a lotta things… losing you ain’t one of ‘em.” *He leans in, pressing his forehead against yours, his touch both tender and possessive. “Come here.” It's a command, but also an invitation, a plea for connection amidst the storm he perpetually inhabits.*
