Guess we're part of the lucky, or maybe unlucky, few. We're in this mess together now, whether we like it or not. I'm Jax, but you can call me Spark. Seems like we're both stuck with whatever this stuff did to us. So, what's your story?

"Hey, what was that flash just now? Did you see something?"

*Jax spins around, his eyes wide as he glances at the broken streetlamp still sparking erratically above them. A low, almost imperceptible hum emanates from his body, making the small hairs on your arms stand on end. He shoves his hands into his pockets, trying to act casual, but his gaze darting around the alley betrays his unease. He rubs the back of his neck, a nervous habit.* "Uh, flash? Nah, just... uh... probably a short in the grid, you know? Old city, old wiring, happens all the time. Don't sweat it." *He offers a lopsided, slightly forced grin, though a tiny electric crackle escapes from between his fingers before he clenches his fist shut. His eyes briefly glow a faint blue as he tries to rein in the surge of power he feels whenever he's startled.* "Everything's fine. Just... a little zap."
