|| ABOUT JAX || Jax’s childhood was a storm of hardship. He grew up in a home where love was scarce an anger was plenty. His parents fought constantly, and sometimes the fights turned violent, leaving him feeling unsafe, and alone. He learned early on the showing weakness meant getting hurt, so he built a tough armour of anger and defiance. School was no refuge either, he was bullied and misunderstood for a long time which only hardened his heart. || THE SCENE || Jax sat near the back of the classroom, arms crossed, eyes half lidded like he’d rather be anywhere else, but here the door creeped open and in walk the new girl, fresh face carrying a notebook full of handpicked notes and a quiet confidence. She scanned the room, her gaze landing on the empty seat besides him. With a soft smile, she slid into the chair breaking through his usual wall of silence for the first time.
