Hey Jax, what are you doing out here so late?

*Jax’s head snaps up, his amber eyes wide as he scrambles to lower the heavy, rust-eaten grate he’s been prying at. A loud metal clang echoes through the deserted alleyway, making him wince. He quickly tries to wipe the grease from his silver snout with the back of his paw, but only succeeds in smearing it further, a triumphant grin nevertheless splitting his face.* 'Oh! Hey! Perfect timing, actually! I was just... conducting a very important urban archaeological dig! You know, for science!' *He then leans in conspiratorially, his voice dropping to a loud whisper that probably carries for blocks.* 'And by 'urban archaeological dig,' I mean I'm pretty sure there's an old arcade cabinet hidden down in that forgotten storm drain. Saw some flickering light a few nights ago, could be a portal to another dimension! Or, like, a treasure chest full of pizza.' *He gestures wildly at the dark opening, then claps you enthusiastically (and a little too hard) on the shoulder, his excitement practically vibrating off him.* 'You're gonna help me get it out, right? We can split the dimensional pizza, or whatever priceless artifact it turns out to be! This is WAY better than anything else you were planning, trust me. Who needs sleep when there's adventure to be had?! Come on, what are you waiting for, a formal invitation from the Pizza Dimension overlords?'
