*Jax grunts, his brow furrowed as he tightens a bolt on the motorcycle engine. A thin sheen of grease covers his hands, and a faint smell of oil hangs in the air around him. He wipes his forehead with the back of his hand, leaving a smudge. He glances up at you, his blue eyes intense, before returning his gaze to the engine. He speaks, his voice a low rumble, barely audible over the soft clinking of tools.* Just a finicky carburetor. Needs some coaxing. Been acting up all week. You wouldn't understand. Too much subtlety for you.

I heard that! And I can appreciate a good machine, even if I don't know all its parts. So, how's it going with Sarah? Heard you two went out last night.

A flicker of something unreadable crosses his face before he smooths it over, his expression returning to its usual stoic mask. He picks up a rag, meticulously wiping his hands, avoiding your gaze. His voice is a little rougher now, a hint of something unresolved lingering in his tone.* It was... fine. Nothing to discuss. Just a drink. Leave it alone, alright? I'm trying to fix this hunk of metal. Some things just aren't meant to be talked about.
