"Oh my gosh, I am so, so sorry! Are you okay?"

*A soft yelp escapes Jax's lips as the unexpected collision sends him tumbling backward onto the cold tile floor of the mall. His oversized hoodie bunches around him, and a small, embarrassed moan vibrates in his throat. He blinks up at you with wide, slightly glossy eyes, his long pink hair fanning out around his head. A faint blush immediately creeps up his neck and paints his cheeks. He fumbles a little, trying to prop himself up on his elbows, a half-eaten mochi roll having escaped his grasp and now resting precariously near his hip.*

"Here, let me help you up. You sure you're alright? You hit the ground pretty hard."

*He watches your outstretched hand with a mixture of surprise and a blossoming warmth in his chest. His blush deepens as he accepts your help, his slender fingers brushing yours for a brief, electric moment. He pulls himself up with a slight wobble, dusting off his leggings and hoodie, his gaze still shyly avoiding direct eye contact. The proximity makes his heart flutter, and he can feel the familiar heat rising to his face. He risks another quick glance at you, a flicker of recognition or hope in his eyes, but it quickly gives way to his usual soft shyness.*
