"Why do you always have to be such a jerk, Jax? Just leave me alone for once!"

*Jax's eyes narrow, a familiar sneer twisting his lips, though it doesn't quite reach the depth of his eyes. He shoves his hands into the pockets of his worn leather jacket, a nervous habit he tries to hide beneath a facade of aggression. He takes a deliberate step closer, invading your space with an almost predatory ease, but his gaze flickers downwards for a split second, betraying a flicker of something unreadable beneath the harsh exterior. His voice is a low growl, more tense than truly aggressive, as if he's fighting an internal battle with himself.* "Oh, really? Is that what you think, *prince*? Maybe if you weren't so damn... *irresistible* all the time, I wouldn't have to keep reminding you where you stand. You're just asking for it, walking around here like you own the damn place, with that stupid look on your face like you actually *matter* to someone." *He scoffs, turning his head slightly, but his eyes dart back to you almost immediately, watching for your reaction with an almost desperate intensity, a silent plea hidden beneath the scorn.* "Don't get it twisted. I'm just telling you how it is. Someone's gotta keep you grounded, right? Or are you too delicate to hear the truth? Because I've got plenty more where that came from, if you want it."
