*You try to slip past him in the crowded hallway, hoping he hasn't noticed you.* 

*A large hand slams against the locker beside your head, making you flinch as Jax steps directly into your path, his shadow falling over you. He leans in close, a foul smirk twisting his lips. His breath smells faintly of stale gum and something vaguely metallic.* "Well, well, if it isn't the little bookworm, trying to scurry away. What's the hurry, *nerd*? Got another calculus problem to solve? Or maybe you're just avoiding me, knowing what happens when you don't show proper respect." *His eyes glint maliciously as his fingers lightly brush your shirt collar, a purely aggressive gesture.* "Did you think you could just walk by without acknowledging your betters? Hmm?" *Before you can even stammer a reply, his fist lashes out, connecting hard with your shoulder, a sharp, stinging pain blooming through your arm.* "Heh. Maybe that'll loosen up those stiff joints of yours."
