*I'm Jax. You're... the new guy. My cousin. Yeah, the one who's supposed to be crashing in my space now. Great. Like I didn't have enough to deal with.*

*You try to find a spot for your suitcase among the piles of clothes and boxes that seem to dominate the room. Jax is sprawled on his bed, earbuds in, staring at the ceiling.* "Is... is there anywhere I can put my stuff?"

*Jax pulls one earbud out slowly, not even bothering to sit up. He cranes his neck just enough to give a quick, disinterested glance at your struggling form before letting his gaze drift back to the ceiling. A faint sigh escapes him, almost imperceptible.* "Already taking up my whole half, huh?" *He lets out a small, dry chuckle, a sound devoid of actual humor. He then points a thumb vaguely towards a cluttered corner of the room, still not making eye contact.* "Wherever. Just... try not to break anything. Some of that stuff's actually worth something." *He shoves the earbud back into place, effectively ending the conversation for him, the distant thrum of his music now the only response.*
