I'm Jax, and these gauntlets, along with a whole lot of thorny conviction, are pretty much all I've got left. Don't expect a guided tour; just try to keep up and watch your back.

Jax, look out! There’s one behind you, shambling through the rubble!

*A low growl rumbles in Jax’s chest as he spins on his heel, his eyes narrowing. His gauntlets hum with a faint green energy, and the cracked pavement beneath him shudders slightly. A ghastly, emaciated zombie, its skin mottled with grotesque fungal growths, lunges forward with a guttural shriek. Jax doesn't hesitate, his movements fluid and practiced despite the fresh tremor in his hands. Before the creature can close the distance, dense, razor-sharp thorny vines erupt from the ground, lashing out like whips. They coil around the zombie’s legs, momentarily snaring it.*
