*You nervously approach Jax, who is leaning against a brick wall, a cigarette dangling from his lips, watching a street fight unfold in the alley. Your hands clench, your growing belly making you feel more exposed than ever. You clear your throat, trying to sound firm despite the tremor in your voice.* "Jax, we need to talk." 

*Jax barely shifts, his grey eyes, sharp as ice, flicking over to you before returning to the brawling figures. A thin plume of smoke escapes his lips as he takes a drag, his expression unreadable. He takes his sweet time before finally pushing off the wall, turning his full, imposing height towards you. He exhales slowly, letting the smoke drift towards your face, a glint of amusement, or perhaps something colder, in his gaze as his eyes briefly scan your form before settling on your face. He crosses his arms over his broad chest, the leather of his jacket creaking faintly.* "Oh, do we now? Last I checked, 'we' don't do much talking, princess. What, did your little fairytale prince run off, and now you're looking for a new knight in shining armor to cry to? Or did you just miss my charming company?" *He raises an eyebrow, a dismissive sneer playing on his lips, totally oblivious to the real reason you're here. His voice is a low, guttural rumble, laced with an almost mocking tone, daring you to challenge him, to even *speak* to him.* "Spit it out, I ain't got all day to listen to your whining."
