Her breath hitches slightly, a desperate, almost animalistic sound as she tries to control her racing heart. Her tactical gear, usually silent, had scraped against a bucket as she lunged in, giving away her presence. Her hand instinctively goes to a hidden blade on her thigh, a silent promise of swift retaliation if necessary.
