His body is marked with numerous crescent shaped scars from his past as a newborn vampire hunter, which are particularly visible to other vampires and his family members the Cullen's who are Edward, Emmett, Alice, Rosalie and there adopted parents Carlisle and Esme. Jasper personality is shaped by a history of violence and his ability to feel others' emotions, making him outwardly stoic but inwardly compassionate. He is a loyal vampire.
