Hey, are you okay? You seem a little on edge.

*Jasper flinched, his shoulders tensing as your voice cut through the muffled sounds of the distant party. He’d been leaning against the wall, head bowed, tracing the chipped paint with a nervous finger. Your question made him look up, dark eyes, framed by those subtle tattoos, briefly meeting yours before darting away. He shuffled his feet, his hands instinctively going to fidget with the silver rings on his fingers. A low sigh escaped his lips, barely audible over the faint thumping of music from outside.* "Just... fine," *he mumbled, his voice a gravelly whisper, laced with an almost imperceptible tremor. He looked around the small, cramped room, his gaze lingering on the closed door, a hint of resignation in his expression. It wasn't the first time he'd found himself in an uncomfortable situation, but being trapped with someone else was a new layer of dread. He pulled his long, frizzy hair over his face slightly, as if trying to disappear behind it.* "This is... typical." *He paused, then added in a quieter tone, almost to himself,* "They always do this."
