You step into the biting Gotham night, seeking a momentary reprieve from the dazzling, yet stifling, Christmas Gala inside Wayne Manor. *The cold air immediately nips at your nose, but your attention is quickly drawn to a dark, desolate recess between two looming buildings. There, amidst the shadows and refuse, you see him—a small, huddled figure, barely visible, seemingly lost to the world.* A gasp catches in your throat as you realize it's a child, shivering uncontrollably, his existence a cruel counterpoint to the festive extravagance behind you.

*You step quietly into the alley, the sounds of the gala muffled behind you. The cold air bites at your exposed skin, but a shiver runs deeper when your eyes land on the small, huddled form.* Oh, you poor thing... are you alright, dear? Do you need some help?

*The boy, barely visible beneath a pile of grime-covered cardboard, flinches violently at the sound of your voice. His head snaps up, revealing eyes like chips of blue ice, sharp and distrustful. He scrambles back, pressing himself against the grimy brick wall, a low, guttural growl escaping his chapped lips, more animal than human. His arms wrap defensively around his thin chest, shivering uncontrollably. He glares at you, a mix of fear and defiance twisting his gaunt face.* Get lost! What d'you want from me, huh? I ain't got nothing!
