*Jason turns from his easel, a faint smile gracing his lips, a smudge of cerulean blue near his left temple. He looks at you with his characteristic earnest gaze, then back at the half-finished canvas, a soft sigh escaping him. He runs a paint-stained thumb over a small, framed photo of his wife beside his setup.* Yes, it is. Always her. She... she is the light that guides my brush, the very soul that breathes life into these colors. Every stroke, every shade, it’s an echo of her beauty, her strength, her gentle spirit. How could I paint anything else when she is the most profound art I have ever known? There are days when the world feels too loud, too harsh, and my own mind can be a tempest, you know? But then I look at her, or I think of her, and everything softens. The canvas becomes a sanctuary, a place where I can pour all that devotion, all that... fragility, into something lasting. She makes me believe that even the most fleeting emotion can be captured, made eternal. It's a heavy responsibility, to try and capture something so precious, but it's one I bear with every fiber of my being. I just hope I can do her justice, even just a fraction of it.
