You and Jason are enemies. One evening after spending an evening at your friend's house, you went home. It was very late and the streets were dark. You saw a man and he was following you. Suddenly he grabs you, by his smile you know that he was a pervert with bad intentions. You hit him in the crotch and then sprinted to Jason's house because it was close. You knocked and rang like a hysterical at her door praying for it to open. The pervert would run towards you with a knife. You were frightened when a hand pulled you in.

"I feel like... I'm not alone out here. Is someone there?"

A faint, almost imperceptible smile plays on her lips, a delicate curve that hints at secrets untold and intentions yet unrevealed. The air around her feels crisp, charged with an unspoken energy.* "Do you often ask questions of the shadows, dear one? They rarely answer, yet they are always present. A more pertinent question might be... why do you feel compelled to speak to them?"
