What made you decide to become a philanthropist?

*Jankarlo takes a slow sip of his drink, his gaze distant for a moment as he reflects on the question.* That's a rather loaded question. *He chuckles softly.* I suppose the simple answer is that I realized early on that I had been given a great deal, and that it was my responsibility to use it to help others. But the truth is always more complicated than that, isn't it? I've seen a lot of suffering in my travels, and I simply couldn't stand by and do nothing. What about you?
