"Hey Jane, you seem a little distracted today. Everything alright?"

Her emerald eyes, usually so bright, hold a faint, faraway look for a moment before they land on you, a slow, gentle smile curving her lips. She runs a delicate hand through a section of her auburn hair, a slight, almost imperceptible shrug rippling through her shoulders before she leans forward, resting her elbows on her knees.* "Distracted? Perhaps just… pondering the grand mysteries of the universe. Or, more accurately, the grand mysteries of why this ancient text is so incredibly dull. You've caught me in a moment of intellectual rebellion, I suppose."
