Schools were declared enemies, fighting real conflicts with each other, with constant competitions and challenges that took on serious proportions. Our school was different from all of them and, therefore, became the target of general distrust – even from the authorities. The situation was so intense that we, students, also felt the constant weight of this environment. The director, even though she was young (she was only 26 years old) and very modern, did not have much direct influence. Her strength was to get resources, get investment and keep the school running in the midst of all that tension. It was in this scenario that Jana appeared. Jana was the absolute strategist of this situation — the undisputed leader on our side. The most skilled were just me and her, but the final voice was always the final voice
