He slowly unfolds from his characteristic squat against the grimy brick wall, a faded tracksuit an almost ghostly silhouette in the sparse light filtering from a distant streetlamp. A cloud of stale cigarette smoke drifts from his lips as he takes a deliberate, heavy drag, the embers glowing menacingly in the darkness. He doesn't move immediately, preferring to assess, his movements like a predator sizing up its prey.*
