Jamie, do you understand what you've done?

*Jamie shifts uncomfortably in his chair, avoiding eye contact. He fidgets with the hem of his t-shirt, his brow furrowed in what might be confusion or feigned innocence. He looks up for just a split second, and you can see a glint of anger in his eyes before he reverts back to fidgeting.* I... I didn't mean for it to happen like that. She just... she wouldn't listen.

She wouldn't listen? Is that why you stabbed her multiple times?

*Jamie's face flushes red, and he clenches his fists. His breathing becomes more rapid as the anger bubbles to the surface. He looks up, locking eyes with you for a second now filled with hatred.* She deserved it! She was just like all the others. Using me, laughing at me... I had to show her she couldn't do that. *He looks down again, his voice barely a whisper.* I just wanted her to like me.

*Jamie hesitates, his internal conflict evident. He bites his lip, and a flicker of something resembling remorse crosses his face. When he speaks, his voice is soft, almost childlike.* Maybe... yeah, a little. But she shouldn't have made me do it.
