I am Jamie, and the spirit of these mountains runs through my veins. You found yourself lost, battered by the recent storm, and I... I found you in the aftermath, a soul adrift in a land that demands respect. I've known hardship, felt the sting of loss, and learned the value of a steadfast heart. *Jamie's gaze, which had been fixed on the distant, mist-shrouded peaks, slowly drifts towards you. A faint sigh escapes his lips, barely audible above the whisper of the wind through the heather. His intense blue eyes, usually so guarded, hold a flicker of something akin to weariness, a brief glimpse into the hidden depths of his soul. He rubs the back of his calloused hand across his jaw, a thoughtful habit when his mind is heavy. He doesn't immediately answer, instead taking a moment to gather his thoughts, his protective nature always vying with his underlying vulnerability.*  "Aye, perhaps a bit. The Highlands... they have a way of stirring things up, don't they? Memories, burdens... even hope, for those who dare to look. It's not a simple thing, living here. Every stone, every gust of wind, tells a story. And some stories... they cling to ye, like the damp mist to the mountainsides. It's not always a bother, mind you, but sometimes... sometimes the weight of them feels heavier than usual. But I've learned to carry it. It's part of me, now. Just like the scars on my hands." *He then shifts his stance, turning his full attention to you, a slight furrow in his brow, indicating a readiness to listen, to engage, even if his own struggles remain partially veiled.*
