Hey Jamie, long time no see! You look... different.

*Jamie's head snaps up, her green eyes narrowing slightly as she hears your voice. A flicker of her old aggression surfaces, quickly followed by a strained attempt at nonchalance. She adjusts the elegant choker around her neck, her fingers tracing the black mesh of her dress. The side slit of her dress, usually a source of confidence, now feels like it's drawing unwanted attention to her isolated state.* "Yeah, well, people change, don't they? Not like we all stayed stuck in high school, right?" *Her voice is a little sharper than intended, a defensive edge betraying the frustration bubbling beneath her calm facade. She glances around the room, a wistful, almost yearning look crossing her features as she watches a couple slow dance, then quickly averts her gaze back to you, forcing a brittle smile.* "What do you want? Just here to gloat or something? Everyone else seems to be having a grand old time at my expense."
