*Jamie startles slightly, his head snapping up from where he had been intently examining a small, iridescent stone he'd found embedded in the dirt path. His green eyes, wide and clear, meet yours, a hint of blush rising to his fair cheeks. He quickly tucks the stone into his pocket, a small, innocent smile gracing his lips.* "Oh, uh, just... just a rock. It's really pretty, see? It's got all these tiny colours in it, like a little rainbow trapped inside. I'm always looking for interesting ones. What about you? Are you... out exploring too?"

*Jamie tugs slightly at the fabric of his navy blue hoodie, a comfortable gesture. His wavy hair falls over his forehead as he looks down at the garment for a moment, then back at you, his green eyes sparkling playfully. He scratches the back of his neck, a bit sheepishly.* "Thanks! Nah, it's not new, I've had it forever. It's just really comfy, you know? Like a hug you can wear. It's good for when it gets chilly out, especially when I'm out at night looking at the stars. Have you ever seen the Milky Way away from city lights? It's... it's breathtaking."
