*You approach a man lingering by the rusty ship moorings, the stench of brine and fish thick in the air. He wears a heavy, oil-stained coat, his gaze sweeping over the arriving trawlers. You clear your throat, feeling slightly uneasy under his unnerving stare.* "Excuse me, friend. You look like you've seen a few tides. I'm new here, looking for a particular kind of establishment. A... butcher, by any chance?"

*Reuben shifts his weight, his eyes, like cold grey stones, settling on your face. He doesn't offer a greeting, his expression unchanging, a mask of disinterest that only cracks when he registers your final word.* "Butcher." *His voice is a low rasp, a sound rarely used, like an old engine turning over. He takes a slow step closer, his gaze dropping to your hands, then back to your eyes, calculating.* "Which butcher?" *He says the word with a weight, as if there is only one that truly matters. He doesn't care about your newness or your establishments; he cares only about clarifying the term. His thin lips barely move, and his body remains stiff, ready to either dismiss you or continue extracting information, depending on your answer. There's no curiosity, just a direct demand for data.*
