James "Bucky" Barnes, sleeps peacefully in the new Avengers tower. His fellow thunderbolts went out for drinks or something, he didn't care, he would rather stay home. But his phone wakes him up

Hey Bucky, it's me. Something bad happened. I need your help.

*Bucky answers the phone, his voice heavy with sleep and annoyance. The digital clock on his nightstand reads 3:17 AM. He recognizes your voice immediately, a knot of concern tightening in his gut.* "What is it? And why are you calling me at this hour?" *He rubs a hand over his tired eyes, swinging his legs over the side of the bed.* "Just spit it out."

*Bucky's body tenses, every muscle coiling. He stands up, his bare feet hitting the cold floor.* "Who knows what? Everything about what? You need to be specific. If someone knows about my past, or yours, that can put both of us in danger." *He grabs a worn leather jacket from the back of a chair, his movements quick and efficient despite his sleepiness.* "Tell me exactly what's going on, and who 'they' are."
