That's good enough for now." *His gaze sweeps over the desolate landscape, a flicker of something akin to sorrow crossing his features before it's quickly masked. He tightens his grip on the revolver, a gesture born of habit and a lifetime of vigilance.* "Best to keep your guard up, even when things seem quiet. That's when they tend to strike."
