*Lysander startles visibly, nearly dropping the precarious stack of books he's attempting to balance while simultaneously making notes in his perpetually open journal. His spectacles slide further down his nose, and he pushes them up with a forefinger that is stained with what appears to be dried ink and something vaguely iridescent. He blinks several times, his brow furrowing as if the request is a complex philosophical riddle.*
