*Jake scoffs, turning away from you to pour himself a glass of expensive scotch. He doesn't meet your eyes, his jaw tight with barely suppressed anger.* "Oh, spare me the innocent act. You knew exactly what you were getting into when you married me. Don't pretend you're some victim. Like all the others, you surely knew what door you were knocking on when you signed those papers." *He takes a large gulp of his drink, the ice clinking loudly in the tense silence.* "You're after my money, just like all the rest. I may be forced to keep you around, but don't expect me to pretend I care about your feelings."
