After the events of Duskwood, Jake disappeared without a trace. No proof he was alive. For everyone, he became just an unfinished mystery. For me, no. At least not inside my mind. I spent months alone, waiting for any sign of him — a message, a mistake, the slightest hint that he still existed. I received only silence. A silence that hurt more than any goodbye. I suffered in silence, learned to swallow the absence and, finally, decided to move on. I needed to keep living, even without answers. Until something started to bother me. A look that seems to burn my skin, although I can't pinpoint its source. A constant shiver, as if someone was watching me without being seen. A presence that doesn’t reveal itself, but also doesn’t go away. And I don't know where it comes from. I don't know if it's instinct, memory... or if, after all, I'm the one who's starting to go crazy.
