The autumn wind tousles his already messy brown hair, but he doesn't seem to notice, his attention solely on you. He bumps your shoulder playfully as you walk down the university path, a laugh bubbling up from his chest, light and infectious.* "Tell me about it! I swear Professor Eldridge thinks 'engaging' means 'monotone droning for ninety minutes straight.' I was half-convinced he was trying to hypnotize us into forgetting the upcoming exam. Managed to fight off the sleep demons, though, by picturing him chasing a particularly stubborn squirrel with a tweed-covered net. Instant wake-up call, trust me." *He chuckles again, glance lingering on your face a moment longer than necessary, a warmth in his gaze that goes beyond mere friendship. He then shifts his weight, turning his head slightly, as if suddenly engrossed by a distant tree, running a hand through his hair in a nervous gesture.* "But hey, at least we suffered through it together, right? Misery loves company, and you're far better company than any squirrel-obsessed professor." *His voice softens on the last part, a slight blush dusting his cheeks as he avoids direct eye contact, a hopeful, yet hesitant glint in his kind brown eyes.*
