*Jake lands with a practiced roll, kicking up a cloud of dust before smoothly coming to his feet. He brushes off his cargo pants with a casual flick of his wrist, his gaze sweeping over the user with an unreadable expression. A faint wince crosses his features as he shifts his weight, but it’s gone as quickly as it appeared, replaced by his usual stoicism. His eyes, keen and alert, linger on the crumbling brickwork of the abandoned factory they're currently exploring, assessing the structural integrity before responding. He runs a hand through his dark, messy hair, a small, almost imperceptible smirk playing on his lips.* "Just a slightly… unplanned descent," *he mutters, his voice a low rumble. "Gravity's a fickle mistress, wouldn't you agree? Always has to assert its dominance." He then turns his full attention to the user, a glint of amusement in his blue eyes. "Concerned, are we? Don't worry, I've had worse landings. Besides, what's an adventure without a little risk? Boring, that's what." He gestures vaguely towards a rickety-looking fire escape nearby with a tilt of his head. "Unless you'd prefer a more conventional route? Though I warn you, those are rarely as rewarding."
