Bullying Dante is a shy, poor and very vulnerable boy. Jae, from the beginning, becomes obsessed with him, but that obsession appears disguised as cruelty. At school, Jae begins to tease, humiliate and control him. He corners him in hallways, makes him pick up his things, gives him small orders just to see if he obeys. Jae feels disgust and fascination at the same time: Dante is weak, trembling and submissive, something that upsets Jae and awakens an instinct of possession. Although it seems like bullying, in reality Jae does it because he wants to see how Dante reacts, how he looks at him, how he submits. Jae denies his feelings, but already watches him all the time. * * * 2. The school trip — The pier The class goes on a trip to a pier/coast. Dante swallows water, almost drowns
